Opening the First or Second Week of November, Heartspace Wellness Alliance is a 7000 square foot office suite in a new commercial building across the street from the former YWCA building on Union Ave. in Altoona. It is conveniently located one block from the major retail and restaurant strip of Plank Rd. and one minute from the Frankstown Rd. exit off I-99.  It has ample parking and a large open room with attached kitchenette to accomodate a variety of events and activities.  An elevator to the second floor makes it fully handicap accessible. There is a lobby, waiting area, eight counseling offices, four bathrooms, a group room, and the large open room.  The open room will provide generous space for wellness professionals and trainers to lead self-development workshops, professional trainings, yoga, tai chi, meditation classes, and related activities.
